Really. I can't say that I've ever noticed, but I'll take your word for it.

Little does Dillon know that I'm being....dextrous with his wife.

I created this table in Excel and transferred here as follows:

Highlight the cells in Excel and select 'Save as HTML'. A wizard takes you through the process.

Call up the HTML page in your browser.

Highlight the code between 'Start of converted portion' and 'End of converted portion' and press CTRL+C.

Paste the code into an empty Word document.

Use 'Find and Replace' to remove all paragraph marks.

Copy and paste into the Mote posting window.

It's a bit laborious but it beats typing it all out. I tried on a "real" table but found that one quickly runs up against the 2000 character limit.

Between 'Call up the page ...' and 'Highlight .....' insert:

Select View page source.

I also found that when you do 'Save as HTML', charts on the worksheet
get converted to .gif files with the same name as the .html file plus a number. But you cannot link them directly. They have to put on your web site first.

God, I have scewed up the margins.

313. pellenilsson - 9/25/1999 9:14:37 PM

And nobody is around to help me. I wonder if I should generate some more posts to take it off the screen at least for those who have NoOfPosts=10

It worked. Sorry folks. Post #311 screws up the margins but if you set number of posts to ten, things will be normal when you move forward,

323. CoralReef - 9/25/1999 9:26:38 PM

Pelle don't worry about it, if you're going to mess up margins, the test thread is the place where it happens.

Generating enough posts so that it scrolls off the screen won't work, as some people view more than 10 or 20 at a time. I have it on 80 right now, for example.

It's an interesting picture. Of course if that was America it would have to have a footnote "The green area at the bottom is now a three-story mall with a 500-car parking lot."

Thank god there's only one America, eh?
