Dinner sounds delicious. 3935. thoughtful - 1/5/2007 7:50:10 PM It's so wonderful having a stay-at-home-hubby...he's busy cleaning the house and doing the food shopping today so tomorrow all I have to do is cook and arrange flowers.

And schedule a pedicure for him at the salon? 3939. thoughtful - 1/5/2007 11:15:40 PM He may be weary....hubbys do get weary
Wearing the same shabby shirt... 3940. wonkers2 - 1/6/2007 12:26:42 AM My wife is still working and I'm pretty well retired. Can you believe she actually expects me to make dinner 2-3 times a week? I get no credit for putting the garbage out, mowing the lawn, shoveling the snow, unstopping the drains, getting her car serviced, etc. Things are getting out of hand. 3941. arkymalarky - 1/6/2007 1:13:09 AM Haha! Bob and I are having retirement competition. He's 8 years older than I am and thinks he should retire first, but I've taught a lot longer and will be eligible in two years. I'll go at least three more f/t and maybe switch to p/t after that. 3942. Ronski - 1/17/2007 8:12:42 PM
3943. Ronski - 1/31/2007 6:08:06 PM Prediction for Thursday-Friday storm from Henry Margusity at Accuweather:
3944. Ronski - 2/11/2007 11:15:04 PM Some models are bringing this week's storm closer to the coast leading to a changeover to rain after 3 to 6 inches of snow in NYC and other coastal areas, but Accuweather's Henry Margusity thinks those models are wrong and that the storm will stay farther out, but not too far, leading to the following totals (note that it should read Tuesday-Wednesday, not Monday-Tuesday):
3945. wonkers2 - 2/12/2007 6:10:36 AM A crisis on teacher and public employee pension and retirement plans is on the horizon. Funding is inadequate for pensions in some places and non-existent for retiree health care. 3946. wonkers2 - 2/12/2007 6:11:39 AM erratum: funding for teacher and public employee pension and RETIREE HEALTH CARE PLANS.... 3947. TheWizardOfWhimsy - 2/12/2007 6:12:13 AM For the Cap'n:
Bill worked in a pickle factory. He had been employed there for a number of years when he came home one day to confess to his wife that he had a terrible compulsion. He had an urge to stick his penis into the pickle slicer. His wife suggested that he should see a sex therapist to talk about it, but Bill said he would be too embarrassed. He vowed to overcome the compulsion on his own. One day a few weeks later, Bill came home and his wife could see at once that something was seriously wrong.
"What's wrong, Bill?" she asked.
"Do you remember that I told you how I had this tremendous urge to put my penis into the pickle slicer?"
"Oh, Bill, you didn't" she exclaimed.
"Yes, I did." he replied.
"My God, Bill, what happened?"
"I got fired." "No, Bill. I mean, what happened with the pickle
slicer?" He replied: " Oh...she got fired too."
3948. wonkers2 - 2/12/2007 5:23:35 PM The Cap'n sez, "Ha!Ha!Ha! Thet's my kinder pickel slicer!" 3949. Ronski - 2/12/2007 5:54:34 PM Update: storm moving inland, some changeover on coast.
