This Is Very Scary If Dr. Ben Remains An Option At The Top Of The Polls

And I heard this morning that his solution to the Palestinian situation in Israel was to move them all down into Egypt!

People complaining about how Obama is reacting to terrorism need to remember how he behaved the night they killed bin Laden.

This is a great article by someone who knows his way around both the subject and the language...Kareem Abul-Jabbar on Donald Trump and ISIS

The terrorist campaign against American ideals is winning. Fear is rampant. Gun sales are soaring. Hate crimes are increasing. Bearded hipsters are being mistaken for Muslims. And 83 percent of voters believe a large-scale terrorist attack is likely here in the near future. Some Americans are now so afraid that they are willing to trade in the sacred beliefs that define America for some vague promises of security from the very people who are spreading the terror. “Go ahead and burn the Constitution — just don’t hurt me at the mall.” That’s how effective this terrorism is.

I’m not talking about ISIS. I’m talking about Donald Trump.

This is not hyperbole. Not a metaphor. Webster defines terrorism as “the use of violent acts to frighten the people in an area as a way of trying to achieve a political goal; the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion.”

At this point, Jeb's views are way closer to those of Hillary than they are to most of the republican field. It could never happen but i'ts kind of fun to imagine Jeb jumping ship and becoming Hillary's running mate.

Clinton/Bush

I mean, not really cuz Jeb sucks but there is a perverse part of my brain that is amused by the idea. It would sure confirm the worst fears of anti-establishment republicans

the whole GOP situation is bizarro world.

Must have been me leaving a tag open...sorry.

Jeb is toast.

Bye Bye, Lindsey

WASHINGTON (AP) — With just over a month to go until early voting begins in the 2016 race for president, Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham announced Monday he was ending his campaign.

46103. arkymalarky - 12/21/2015 6:51:05 PM

I wouldn't vote for him for dog catcher, but I enjoyed his comments more than any other candidate.

46104. iiibbb - 12/22/2015 7:50:25 PM

President Donald Trump.

There's a reason I think progressives are fuckwits.

46105. arkymalarky - 12/22/2015 8:20:09 PM

Salon is just blowing smoke. It's like PUMA in '08. Republicans are seeding that thought hoping it'll take root, and it isn't going to.

46106. iiibbb - 12/22/2015 8:33:45 PM

Except I know real people who are saying this.

And I'm not sure Nader is fresh enough in their minds.

46107. arkymalarky - 12/22/2015 9:56:55 PM

I think trump is more likely to run as an independent than Bernie Sanders is.

46108. arkymalarky - 12/22/2015 9:58:13 PM

Stan's going to go for bernie in the primary, but when it comes to the general unless somebody reasonable moves to the forefront I can't imagine. Of course I never take anything for granted. Not after 8 years of Bush. Or 8 years of Reagan for that matter.

46109. iiibbb - 12/22/2015 10:20:08 PM

The only thing that makes Hilary avoiders irrelevant is Trump running as an independent.

46110. judithathome - 12/23/2015 8:58:45 PM

Now taking suggestions for places to move outside the US if Trump or Cruz is elected....we've thought about becoming permanent "cruisers" but I hate that idea because of too many exposures to disease....on month two of severe cough and cold....and I got it at ONE party. So I want some obscure place where I don't have to mingle and where Keoni can still play golf.

Very serious...so far, we've thought about an ex-pat community on the coast of Mexico...

46111. arkymalarky - 12/23/2015 9:13:13 PM

I would like South Korea personally. Talk to our girls who live there. Canada's great now they've gotten rid of their right wing and Spook's son just got his citizenship there. Considering the coast and global warming, probably wouldn't be too bad Temp wise

46112. arkymalarky - 12/23/2015 9:15:03 PM

Stan and I are just Going to stay put where it's easy to ignore. Both here and in Colorado.

46113. judithathome - 12/23/2015 9:49:01 PM

Korea is nice to visit but I wouldn't want to live there...been there, done that with the Orient.
