Well, we can relax now....two "allegedly" intelligent people (Republican commentators) spoke out on the Smerconish show this morning and they have a rather unique take on why there were protesters at the Trump rally the other night in Chicago...are you ready? Bernie Sanders sent them there! Bernie asked his people to arrange for the protests in Chicago last night.

It wasn't Trump's incendiary talk; it wasn't people fed up with being labeled thugs and "lesser beings" than whites as Trump claims every single day of his life; it wasn't the fact he urges people in the audience to "punch him out!"

No, it was that mercurial schemer Bernie Sanders, rubbing his hands together and muttering under his breath "I've got you now, my pretty"...HE and he alone fomented this demonstration from his enchanted tower in Vermont.

Listen...those sorts of delusional beings walk among us every day; they look and seem normal until they open their mouths...and if we're not careful, they are going to elect a bigoted, clueless tyrant to the highest office in the land.

The fundamental reason I am voting for Hillary (or Bernie) is that there are people out there without the means or privilege to weather a Trump presidency: minorities, women, immigrants, Muslims, and poor who are going to suffer in real and personal ways from a Trump presidency. In addition there are civil rights and environmental protection that the Republicans are poised to roll back as soon as they are possibly able. This bothers me enough that I'm putting aside just about every personal preference to ensure that these people don't get fucked.

These fools who may wish to think that a protest vote punishes Hillary and or the Democratic Party for failing to deliver a progressive candidate. Hillary... the Democrats are not going to "suffer" one iota in any real and tangible way from a protest vote.

It's like watching Survivor when the tribe with the numbers proceeds to vote themselves out of the win and hand the million to the guy everyone hates.

Fucking morons.

No wonder I'm an independent.

How about they join forces and make a deal to spend everything they get up until the convention to attack the Republican Party in swing states. As far as the remaining primarys are concerned, they could continue to campaign in every state only attacking the Republicans. Democratic primary goers can just vote for whichever they prefer and whoever wines gets the president slot and whoever loses is VP.

I'd be in favor of them pooling resources to debunk all of the Koch-funded propaganda, but I doubt that would really do the trick. An enormous number of people who believe that offal don't care about the facts.

I mean, anyone who seriously entertains the idea that climate change is a liberal conspiracy is a fucking idiot and probably can't be cured by anything short of an act of god.

I'm so effing sick of the "electorate" today that I think we're going to be screwed no matter what...the fact that people keep voting IN slugs like Mitch McConnell to "represent" them speaks volumes.

I can almost guarantee Trump is going to be the nominee of the "people" that the Republican Party has done its' utmost to "procure"....a totally ignorant blowhard who has no idea what "government" is about.

The Republican Party has created this "Golem"....and the ignorant Republican "masses" have bought into it hook, line, and sinker. The only problem being: they have no control whatsoever over what this monster says and does...

I seriously hope the public wakes up to the fact that their "hero" has not only feet of clay but an entire body of it.
