I sent an email to the governor of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia Police Commissioner alerting them to this organized Democrat vote fraud attempt.

Did you alert them to the fact Republicans have stacked the decks by forcing senior citizens to jump through hoops and spend money they can ill afford to get a voter ID card and then, today, stand on line for 7 hours to vote? Does that make you angry enough to go out and scream at people?

Not to worry...I'm sure you're now on a list of "people to watch" so you'll get someone's attention should you be so moved. Heh.

Dear America, if you elect that imbecile Romney, the world will point at you and laugh and I, personally, may never speak to you again.

Are we supposed to guess where this happened or is happening? Generally senior citizens tend to vote more Republican, so your theory that Republicans are so-and-so's who deliberately did this to seniors is total hogwash on that basis alone.

Voter ID cards are free for the registration, AFAIK, and mine was mailed to my home address.

Here's how it works: You move somewhere, you register as a voter and before the next election sometime you receive a voter registration card in the mail with your voting location address. All you have to do is make it to your mailbox and then your voting location. You don't even need the card when you vote if you have some other form of ID.

Maybe somebody is pulling your leg here, JAH?

45020. concerned - 11/6/2012 8:03:27 PM

I really think somebody is having somebody else on here.

Re. 45018 -

Better not tell this 'Juanita' that Democrats used Romneycare as a template for their program, nor his restructing plan for the auto industry.

That's probably be more information than she can handle right there. Plus, that sequestration of intellectual capacity could make the cognitive dissonance really ugly in her case.

From the Pennsylvania RNC:

HARRISBURG, PA—Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding the first court order issued by the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas to seat Republican Minority Inspectors in Philadelphia Polling places:

“This was a shameless attempt from the Obama campaign to suppress our legally appointed Republican poll watchers in Philadelphia and they got caught,” Chairman Rob Gleason said.

“We’ve seen these shenanigans before and it’s clear that Democratic operatives and the Obama campaign are desperate; trying to shield Republican Minority Inspectors who are employees of the City of Philadelphia today from monitoring election activities. It certainly raises the question, what are Democrats doing in the polls that they are working so hard to shield folks from monitoring this election?”

So far this morning, Democratic operatives prohibited 75 legally credentialed Republican election workers from accessing polling places in heavily Democratic areas in Philadelphia. Incidents ranged from judges of elections refusing to seat Republican Minority Inspectors and Clerks, to reports of Democratic election operatives announcing that “No Republicans will be allowed in the polling place.”

As a result, the Republican Party of Pennsylvania petitioned the Court to issue formal orders to force Democratic judges of elections to seat Republican minority inspectors and clerks. The Court said that they will issue around 6-12 Orders with approximately 6 – 10 names per Order.

What was that about 'voter suppression' and fraud, again, Lefties? This is in-your-face Democrat thug vote suppression. Are you going to let this pass without protest?

45025. concerned - 11/6/2012 8:26:31 PM

75 polling places. That a hell of a lot of electoral fraud, wouldn't you agree, iiibbb?

45026. judithathome - 11/6/2012 8:35:58 PM

Are we supposed to guess where this happened or is happening?

In 33 Republican states...open your biased eyes, man!! It's been all over the news...new restrictions to curb ALLEGED voter fraud...people who have lived in the same house for 50 years being required to show proof of birth, pay money to get proof, or if they were born at home and have no birth certificate, they're SOL.

Stop being disingenuous and admit the Republicans have set up barriers to voting for SOME seniors, ethnics, and young people...barriers unlike any seen since Jim Crow days.

The only upside to these long lines in Florida and Ohio and other places is that some REPUBLICANS are being made to wait, too...unless they've discovered a way to break down the lines into one party and the other party...Republicans, this way...here, have a glass of champers while you vote...care for a little more caviar on that toast point? Here, let me escort you to the silk-draped booth with the fur covered cushions...

45027. judithathome - 11/6/2012 8:38:26 PM

And the Black Panthers are back at Philly voting sites 'monitoring' elections (e.g. intimidating voters).

And the True the Vote folk (white panthers, if you will) have one million zealots out in almost every major voting hub doing the same damned thing...where's your outrage at THAT?

45028. concerned - 11/6/2012 8:59:39 PM

I'm no more outraged by that than by the UN inspectors. JAH - try to pay attention to who is violating the law, not whom you personally don't like.

You mean unregistered first time voters who don't drive.

45030. concerned - 11/6/2012 9:04:02 PM

It's totally sense less to let any warm body vote without any identification whatsoever of who they are, but that's obviously what you want, JAH.

You'll really need to do better than that.

45031. concerned - 11/6/2012 9:04:50 PM

Democrats don't stop there. I've shown where they have many thousands, if not millions of people ready to vote party line Democrat. No outrage at that, JAH?

45032. iiibbb - 11/6/2012 9:05:30 PM

The ironic thing I've noted as I've made the internet rounds is that people respond the same way as Conc'd... instead of "This is wrong and this should be stopped and the traitors behind this kind of thing should be lined up on a wall and shot"... we get "your 'side' is doing it too".

I'll tell you what... we're never going to have any kind of country if we don't collectively get our acts together and make sure that every person has an uninhibited vote. There are bad people who are mucking everything up, and they need to be purged. No exceptions. No ideology.

45033. concerned - 11/6/2012 9:07:58 PM

iiibbb -

There's this difference. JAH is complaining about what is totally legal and I am complaining about what is totally illegal.

How important are our laws to you?

From the Washington Times we have this from Detroit, another socialist paradise:

GOP - Poll watcher in Detroit threatened with gun, 911 call rejected

The Michigan Republican Party is alleging that a poll watcher in Detroit on Tuesday morning was threatened with a gun. According to the Michigan GOP the poll watcher's 911 call was rejected. Below is a press release from Michigan Republican Party spokesman Matt Frendeway:

This morning, a legally credentialed poll watcher was threatened and intimidated while attempting to perform his legally allowed duties of observing the election process at precinct polling location 289 in Detroit. The poll watcher, a lawyer, was confronted by a voter in line, who demanded the poll watcher produce his credentials, which he did.

However, the voter said that wasn’t good enough and that he had “a badge and a gun” and told the poll watcher get out of the precinct. Rather than allow the situation to escalate, the poll watcher left before the voter produced a badge or brandished a gun. Fearing for his safety, the poll watcher exited and called 911, however the Detroit Police refused to respond to the call – neglecting the fact that a voter alleged to have a ‘badge’ and a ‘gun’ in a precinct, putting other voters at risk.

Michigan Republican Party Chairman Bobby Schostak issued a statement concerning the issue the following statement:“Poll watchers, precinct workers and voters should not be put in danger when performing their duties, our Republic requires free and fair elections.

“I can only hope that this morning’s outlandish, reckless and dangerous behavior, was not part of a coordinated effort by the Democratic Party and therefore, I am calling on Mark Brewer, Democratic Party Chairman, to condemn these threats of violence and pledge to ensuring all election workers, volunteers and citizens remain safe.”

Yep conc'd they're not doing anything illegal

An Allegheny County judge issued an order to halt electioneering outside a polling location in Homestead.

County officials received a complaint shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday that Republicans outside a polling location on Maple Street in Homestead were stopping people outside the polls and asking for identification.

The order states: “Individuals outside the polls are prohibited from questioning, obstructing, interrogating or asking about any form of identification and/demanding any form of identification from any prospective voter.”
