Thanks. This is good. Was just talking with someone today about learning Spanish. I suggested that she check out Pimsleur from the Public Library (free resource) -- Pimsleur is used by Doctors Without Borders, among other organizations, and each lesson is only 30 minutes, which is do-able for most people.

And what about the "obstinate" kiddoes who act out and do bad things ANYHOW? They still get what they want for Christmas...that boat of "naughty or nice" sailed long ago; kids today get everything they want regardless. So bad behavior (observed by Santa via his SpyElf) gets rewarded. No pay-off for being GOOD, right?

Of course, I didn't understand Teletubbies either. Thought they were weird and scary - TV for pre-verbal children. Couldn't believe parents were really relying on people they didn't know to entertain and train their offspring.
